Thread: A Visit to The Perfect Edge

I was having that 'Not so sharp feeling' and my attempts to bring the edge back with a swatty and chrome-ox weren't working. So I decided to pay a visit to Howard of The Perfect Edge .

He has an amazing set up, replete with coticules, barber hones, sharptons, nortons. He took a look and noticed some scratching and imperfections on the blade, no doubt caused by my newbie stropping technique. Then he showed me the process he uses to to hone up to 30k.

The final product was quite amazing, I shaved with it this morning (a little timid after nicking myself badly earlier in the week) and it practically melted the hair off my face. So little drag that I had to rely on the sound to know I was going through hair.

A big thanks to Howard, hopefully I can keep this maintained for a while with my new BBW and swatty and in any case I'm sure I'll be paying you a visit again
