Default Woodcraft free shipping through Nov 2nd

Woodcraft is having another free shipping weekend.

If you're not familiar, Woodcraft is the main place to pick up the famous Chinese 12k aka "the people's hone". They also have king waterstones for a pretty good price.

Figured I'd post this in this forum b/c it's more trafficked then the vendors corner, and will give people a better chance to take advantage. If deemed an inappropriate forum by mods, my apologies.

I got my Norton 220/1k there for about $35, which I think is great for the money too.

I got my Camellia oil spray there and do recommend it to those looking for a light oil to keep their nice carbon blades from starting to rust.

Buy Camellia Oil, 8 oz. at Woodcraft.com

This is actually going on through all of Nov, but you need a coupon code. If you PM me I'll give it to you. I'll post a thread in the vendors corner since there's plenty of time now, I'm sure this thread will get buried pretty fast.

I got my 12K Chinese stone from Woodcraft today. It's HUGE! I'll lap it in the next day or so and try it out with a report. I also got a leather covered paddle strop to use with .5 micron paste. Has anyone tried those?
I strop my razor with my eyes closed.

I also got my 12k from the Woodcraft store in Louisville over the weekend. After lapping it with 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper on a granite surface plate, she's perfect for really polishing up the edge. Heck, for a little over 30 bucks, it's hard to go wrong with this baby. It's awesome. They have shops everywhere, so if you missed the free shipping, see if there's one close to you. They have an excellent selection of hones and stones.
