    Default Would this work?

    hey guys,

    I just came accross this stone while doing some research. I can't get it for very cheap. What do you think? I know it's narrow, but I don't mind doing a big more strokes if I can save some money.

    I think the medium is good for knives. I don't know about the fine for razors. I know some guys use the ultra fine for finishing razors and like it. I have a set of all three and I don't like any of them. One of these days if I stop being lazy I'll put them in the classifieds. Right now they are just taking up space.

    I've got no experience with them, but I've read posts where guys were happy with their fine and ultra fine hones. I've shaved with razors finished on them, and I don't have any interest in them based on that experience. Having said that, it could have been a question of the person at the hones instead of the hones themselves.
