Thread: multiple honings

does anyone else get too excited to try all the razors you just got honrd up at the same time?I just honed my wade meatchopper and my boker red-injun.I was so anxious to use them i used the wade on my cross cheek and the other on the other.Talk about a trip.Those razors have nothing in common and switching back and forth was pore opening.

I typically shave test at least three razors at once, and have done as many as six or seven. But for my own blades, I'll only test two at a time. When I get to shave with just one of my own blades for a shave... that is very nice indeed.

I had weeks early on where I did one every day or so but always one at a time. Now I might do 3 some weeks and 1 on others but still hone and shave test one at a time. Now that I am not using tape on the spine I have a whole bunch to do over. That and tight money will keep my RAD in check.
