i thought i would post a link to a Arkansas stone grade table since i have heard a few people mention that they are not sure what grit their stones are.

I wish they could have gotten more specific for the translucent, cause 1200+ is still a huge range. I think CAMI stops at 2000, but 1000 is around 10 micron, 1500 is 3 micron, and 2000 is 1 micron. Essentially, the chart just says that a translucent can be nearly a bevel setter or a finisher.
