Come on guys he said chips in the half a mm range those come out with normal honing and a few extra circles... even on a wedge, the three layers of tape works, then drop down to where you want to or even leave it there...
Really the best advice I can give is this "if the chips or dings are contained inside the bevel, it is just a touch of extra work (even on a wedge) if they are larger than the bevel then you better know what you are doing because that falls into rstoration not honing...

Please just stop, this is the 5th thread you have given advice in that you have no clue what you talking about... Sorry man I don't mean to come down so hard but you just don't seem to get it... Razor are not knives or any other kind of tool the same rules do not apply...
To anyone reading this I'll post it here just like you will find it in multiple places on the forum...
