Thanked: 1371This was useful to me as a newbie
I have Lynn's DVD, and that definitely helped my to get a start in honing. As many of you know though, I have been having some real challenges with getting the bevels set correctly. I don't really have anyone local that I can turn to for help. (though there are a couple of SRPers a couple of hours from where I live that I may eventually hit up for help)
In the meantime though, I found this guy's youtube series to be an extremely helpful supplement to what Lynn talked about on the DVD:
YouTube - Straight Razor Honing Demonstration Part 1
If you follow the link to Youtube there are 9 videos in the series, and it was very helpful to me.
I'm not sure if there was already a link to this somewhere...
Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
