    Default WHICH ORDER CRO2/DIAMOND PASTE

After honing or for touching up if I want to use both CRO2 and say 0.5 diamond paste in which order should I use them. First CRO2 then the diamond paste or vice versa? Or should they not be used together?

I personally use the 0.5 diamond spray on denim first, say 10 strokes, then I do five on crox on leather afterwards.

My reasoning is that the crox is slightly less harsh than the diamond and just reduces some of that harshness. This works very well for me and is giving me my best edges yet after honing and touch ups. Just keep a light touch and keep the number of strokes down as you can have too much of a good thing...!

    Good luck!

plus one on above, by using cr.ox after diamond paste, the cr.ox will take the bite out of the edge. If you only do 10 laps on .5 paste you should be ok with out cr.ox. If it was me i would finish on .5 dp, test shave . Then add 5 laps cr.ox test shave and compare the differance.

I would recommend doing the 10 light strokes on the diamond first, then strop and test shave. If it's perfect, you're there. If you feel the shave is harsh or not quite there, then 5 strokes with the Chromium Oxide and see if that gets you where you want to be.

    Have fun,

    Lynn
