Well I did it.
I honed my razor today and had a very nice shave with it. Had to reset the bevel as the bevel in the middle was gone. I read a couple of weeks ago someone else have a similar problem and thought I could go ahead and try.
I followed Lynn's 40 circle method as outlined by Jimmy and Glen detailed on http://straightrazorpalace.com/honin...-problems.html.
It took me for sets before the bevel was completely set. I then just moved up the hones from 1k-16k shapton.
This was awesome that I was ale to get my razor back up to shaving.
Thanks again.

Great feeling to shave with razors you honed yourself.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Congratulations. The first one is quite an accomplishment. I hope you continue to find honing just as rewarding as you progress.

I never tire of honing and can't imagine that i ever will.

Thank you guys. I could not have done it without all of you. It was very satisfying indeed.
I am very happy that I was able to get it done.
