    Default Another Coticule solution

I have been having difficulty getting a shaveable edge on this WILBERT CUTLERY ELK razor. The pyramid did not work and one of the methods told to me by an old Missouri boy didn't work for some reason. Probably because it doesn't seem to be a top of the line razor.

So I used the Coticule method ( full slurry to diluted slurry to clear water ) as set forth by Bart and "bingo". Shaveable edge. I've used this method before when I had difficulty with some other razors and it has not failed to work for me.

Give it a try if you have a problem razor. Welcome to Coticule.be - home of the famous Belgian Coticule Whetstone

I have thirty or so hones but the Yellow Coticule ( I have three ) is the most useful by far.....
