    Just IME, I rarely use slurry on a yellow coticule. I would if I were setting a bevel but I prefer to do that on a 1k naniwa or a 1k norton. I always use slurry on the bbw and when I use that stone I always finish on a yellow coticule. Maybe that is why I've not worn my yellows with the slurry stone. Again IME you can set a bevel on a coticule with slurry but it is an experience that I don't care to repeat with the other alternatives at my disposal.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
