FUD anything more specific about before what and after what you are interested in seeing?

I reread the post cause it reads like pictures before and after looking at the blade with a microscope. I could not tell how looking at the blade with a microscope would change the edge, so why make pictures of it? .

Its probably a stretch but I think he means before and after shaving, but I suppose it could be before and after honing. There is a pic of a well honed blade in the files section

When I was at Lynn's he showed me some blades under his microscope, before and after honing. That's what I'm looking for. I'd like to compare and see how things go. I've read some places on here that some folks use a microscope when fixing nicks in blades, etc.

I found some old pics in my earliest post. Shows a new out of the box edge and after honing. New TI 6/8, Not shave ready and uneven bevel, is this normal?

I haven't fired up the QX4 in months but if you don't find what you are looking for anywhere else I'll take some pics next time I hone an e-bay special before and after. (should be very soon. My Wonderedge and 1" W&B are on the way). QX4 does not have the clearest pictures. If anyone has a real microscope with digital picture capability then you would get better results.

BTW: Was fun to read my own confusion on honing.
