Thread: New razor worse off than when I bought it.

Yep, I gots one. Thanks Magpie. I'm not sure when it was made but it honed up fine ans shaves OK. I do have better shavers though. This one is marked Solingen in the etch nut no stamp on the shank.

Frost is fairly low if not bottom of the totem pole when it comes to knives and razors.

I'm not sure who makes them now but they are definitely sub-par. I've done everything I can to no avail. I think they should just be written off. The German made one that I have I bought new in '05. It gives a descent shave. They are just running the name into the ground now though. On closer inspection, the blade is loose in the scales and the scales are warped. I suppose I should have paid more attention. I just expected it to be just as good as my first one. I learned a lesson from all of this though. At least it's only an hour and a half from the house to the knife works.
