Ok, to the sage straight shavers and hone-meisters out there this story will bring a big yawn.

But, today I used the Super Punjab hone, I spent hours lapping, and successfully put a good shaving edge on my razor.

I've my C-Mon out twice to be honed to KenRup so it's not like I set the bevel or anything. But, it was with much satisfaction that today I got a good shave with it.

It also took me three tries to get the edge to this point. Honing and shaving, honing and shaving. Today it was there.

I also saw I put too much pressure on the tip and now I have a slight smile on the bevel at the point. Some on the stroke toward me and more on the stroke away. I know when I did it too, I was afraid I wasn't keep it perfectly flat and over compensated. It's not that bad, but something to correct next time.

I'm pretty happy about it.
