Thumbs up first time....got it right actually

so i tried my hand at touching up the edge after stroping wasnt enough any more....using a vintage shumate dry barber hone.
i did about 5-6 laps and then stroped it for a while and wow it brought it back to life...i was kind of shocked i didnt destroy the edge.
i know this is not honing start to finish but it is a start.....just thought i would share how i got lucky for a change

Success! If you -like me- only buy shave ready, or send your finds out for honing, that's all you'll ever need to do!

But sooner or later you'll /want/ hones I do.

    Good luck!

    Cheers,
    Jeremy
