My hair is so fine and flimsy that it is very very rare that I can get anything to cut it. I will have to try this. Now you will probably get several more questions of what brand paper towel you used I am sure not all cut the same. lol lol

I use this test on my knives. I never woulda thunk of it for a razor, though.

This seems like a great idea, I'll give it a try tonight.
I've been trying to sharpen a couple of old razors (my first attempt) and during the process of testing I have removed almost all of my arm hair to the extent that I'm moving onto my legs! This could save me from lots of strange looks and questions.
