I recently sent my razor out to be professionally honed by a guy from the classifieds, I wont name names here to be polite. The razor is a year old and purchased from classic so it had never been honed before. I received my razor back a couple days ago and the blade didn't look quite right to me. The bevel wasn't even across the whole razor and the heel had some very faint glinting which was more evident after I shaved with it. Well, I sent back the razor the same day to the honemeister to get fixed up. He agreed to pay return shipping and kindly offered to touch it up for free.

I'm just wondering If I should have sent back to him or just kept my big mouth shut and kept the razor as it is. I feel like was a little anal about whole thing. I don't want to offend the guy that honed it, I just want to get my razor in tip top shape.

Anyone have any experience with this kind of thing?
