Check Out This Hone
and tell me if you think it's fine enough for final honing, leading to stropping. I got it from Tilly off ebay. It's NOS, and I've lapped it.

Well, Tilly told me her finest (in grit, that is) hones are Lithide and Itsapeech. This is probably something around 4000-6000 grit??
Just go to her website, www.redtrader99.com, and pick up Lithide or Itsapeech, they are cheep ~10$...

I think thats a great hone...you have something else to get you to that grit level like a Norton? Well worth the expense...for that price, if you don't like it I"ll buy it.
