I stropped this morning before my shave and got an irritated face. What the heck is with that? Just when you think you start to understand this stuff....LOL

Well now you've all done it, all this scientific mumbo jumbo. I think what needs to be done here is to actually shave after all those great tests are passed and then the next day shave again. Forget the tests and lets see how it initially shaves and then shaves the next day. I'll bet it doesn't shave good initially. Just a feeling I have.

Thanked: 2Isn't it in the Barber's book that you are supposed to let the steel rest 24-48 hrs before doing anything with it. The steel bends and shifts and stuff.

Nah, thats a different source. Barbers didn't let anything "rest", the tools had to keep making money. Thats from Arthur Boon. Great read too . . .
