    Default Striations Don't Exist

OK, just tongue and cheek fun ...

    Striations, they can not exist
And that is my poems cynical jist

For I can maintain an edge indefinitely
    Without believing in such blasphemy

I for one have been shaving for a year
And that should discount your odd leer

I can hone a razor, but I need a paste
Striations on a hone, I say, are such a waste

Why just the other day I honed a razor
And now it shaves just like a laser

Never mind the striations I put onto the edge
I told them not to line up like a ledge

So if you think it is a silly waste
That I enjoy a fine paste

I will simply stop using a hone
For I can do just as well with any bone

My striations get finer and finer
And this is what makes my razor a shiner

    :-)
