long suffering
As a long-suffering Mets fan, you should probably take any advice I give you with the proverbial grain of salt... but bear in mind that I also have a small collection of quotes from "Anthem" on my other laptop.
This may the most helpful forum anywhere on the net. What may get confusing for newcomers is the wildly different advice that sometimes seems to come from all directions. Why? Because everyone's equipment, face, experience level and self-confidence level is different. Myself, I'm not a big barber hone guy. I've had several, unloaded most. I think that a Chinese 12k stone, roughly $20 at Woodcrafters, is more useful than a barber hone along with being more forgiving and easier to use.
That being said, there is a huge amount of expertise available here, free and happily given. Don't be afraid to experiment and have some fun. After all, this is shaving, not brain surgery.
Now, if we could just send Oliver Perez for some brain surgery ....Last edited by stimpy52; 06-05-2010 at 08:03 PM. Reason: wording
