You don't get much out of the translation since there's so little text, but try using Babelfish to translate the page.

Small pic, but it looks like a DE razor hone. Look towards the bottom of Tilly's site. The one on her page is not glass, but it's a better pic. I can't see honing a DE blade in today's world, but one of the guys at SMF uses the glass hones to display his razors.

If you look at the vintage hones and strops section on Eboy you'll see lots of glass hones. They come in all colors of the rainbow but green glass called uranium glass seems to be the most popular. They were used for sharpening DE blades. I think in the old days of DE's the blades only lasted for one or two shaves so sharpening them extended them. One of the famous english makers was a brand called Lillicraps.

Out of curiosity, can they be used on straights? And in what capacity?

I believe THiS is the same thing as in the pic. The blade was rubbed back and forth in a rocking motion to sharpen the edge.

I was tempted to buy the double edge blade hone on Tilly's site, but decided to get two of her larger ones instead. I remember my dad using the inside of a drinking glass to sharpen his old Blue Blades (people who lived through the Great Depression did things like that). When D E's all went to stainless, he gave up the practice. More shaves w/ the stainless blade & probably a real pain to sharpen them.
