That's why I go to the BBW after that because the hone is so fast that it dulls the razor easily, also why I rinse and recreate slurry if I need to take more time on the bevel. All in all it takes about 5 minutes to set a bevel on mine.

It amazed me when I first did it. lol
Wow, that IS fast. My Coti is so slow that the slurry barely ever turns grey. It finishes fine, but it's useless as a one-stone solution.

I'd love to try a fast Coticule.

you could email ardanees and they could find you a quik coti , i had a standard bout that was cheap and fast. i have used at the mine a la patite blanch and they are beautiful hones also the la vainettee which i have is also very similar if not identical, they both cut fast. i also honed a razor on a 125x30 aprox and that was extremly fast and was only what, 40 Eu if i remember rightly. that was a la drassante. my quikest one is my la latneauses, sorry about spellings

+1. You don't even need to email them. Just order the size you want & request the characteristics you want on the form. My recent purchase was that easy.
