That's too bad.
You could also send it to a hone expert and have him identify the stones. After identification you can choose which stones you want and have them send to you without boxes with economy mail, should be cheaper without insurance. Then just leave the remaining stone(s) with the expert or work out a deal.
I recently had a 600g stone send to me from the US for $14, which is not bad especially since it arrived within 4 days iirc.
