    Default Thanks for the informative discussions...

    I'm a knife guy, not a razor guy. A new 8"x2" Belgian Blue Waterstone is in the house. A Christmas present purchased from Best Sharpening Stones. I plan to just splash and go, without using a slurry stone. I'll use this as a follow up to my Arkansas Translucent and Arkansas Black stones.

    I became interested in this stone after reading about it on SRP. Thanks guys.

    Are you using it for razors? If so, I'd highly encourage you to try with a bit of slurry. The BBW's are really slow cutters when used with water only.
