Thread: Looking for a Honing Mentor around San Fran Bay area.

I'm a few hours north of San Francisco, but I'm willing to travel a ways for a nice day of tutoring. Replies or PMs will work.

I have a norton 4k/8k, a naniwa 12k, and a naniwa lapping plate. I have some other hones that my dad gave me, but I don't know the grits so I haven't tried using them on my straights.

markevens, I'm an hour south of San Francisco, and I too would be willing to travel a bit for mentoring. I just yesterday received a Norton kit. I'll bring along a microscope.
