Hi again, I was able to snipe this stone on Ebay: 250764287317 . What kind of stone is, is look to me is a coticule, BBW combination . But is a huge 8" x 2.5" . It can be a coticule? Or just waste of money.
Thanks again

Looks like a natural coticule to me. You did well. I'd like to see a side view to ascertain how much yellow is there compared to the blue but if it is a good amount you stole it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I agree with Jimmy - natural bbw/coti. It looks like the coti may be a bit thin in the middle area, but I'm sure there is still plenty to use. Awesome score.

Looks like it had a BIN price. A snipe is when you make an (automated) bid mere seconds before the end.

Hi again, I just received the stone today and yes is a coticule. I lapped for about 1 hour on my DMT 325, is still have a small chip on a corner, about 1/3 inch, the yellow part have some pink veins, I don't know if you can see it on the pictures. And like somebody said there is not so much yellow left on one side, but I think this is the beauty of the natural vintage stones. Stone is 7 1/4 long , 1 6/8 wide and 3/4 tall. Here are some pictures;

Don't try to lap until the chip disappears and the stone is all flat. Chamfer the chip like you would the edges of the stone and stop before you wear through the coti to the BBW. I posted somewhere else about something similar to this just a few days ago...
I'll go find it...
