Ive got this under control
I have started on my first razor. Im the kind of guy that if i like to start with something hard. I decided to start with a blade that someone told me was junk. I didnt take before pics but I do have them from the ebay auction. Im still waiting for my 220/1000 stone to get here. I wish it would because ive gone as far as i can with the rough stone ive got. I dont have alot of money since the economy went to shit. I do how ever have alot of time and sever slightly broken razors. The coarsest stone i bought is extremely aggressive so i can repair/re grind some of the chipped rust razors ive got. It only took me a coupple hours to get this one to the condition shown. It now a full wedge. One double duck saved! In the before pictures its the bottom razor.

Congrats if you can make those usable, I am not saying it is impossible but I wouldnt bother with it. Both of those blades look to be suffering from celluloid rot judging from the pattern of rust and pitting. Throw the handles away and get or make new ones. The geometry on the cleaned blade is going to be very obtuse, I dont know how well it will hold an edge. No matter what please have fun, you are going to learn a lot!

I think its cell rot as well.
Ill cant wait to finish this razor the see if:
1. It holds and edge
2. It will still give a decent shave
3. If the hours ill have invested give me a number 2
I dont think there is a person here that would have messed with this blade but like i said time is all ive got. Ive got a few better blades to actually hone. second from the top should hone nicely but like i said cant to anything until i get the 1000 grit stone.

I would go for the 3rd blade or even the 4th. The second even though at one time a good hollow shows excessive wear at the toe, unless you do a regrind it will always show. What stones do you have? You can set a bevel with wet and dry sandpaper if need be @ 1k grit.

bottom 2 are microtomes.
stones(i wouldn't even call some of them hones)
-Unknown grit - aggressive
-Chinese 220/1000 - hasn't arrived yet
-Norton 4000/8000
-Chinese 12000 - hasnt arrived yet
The hone wear on that second blade is fairly consistent along the length of teh blade. Ive also got 3 other razors with no hone wear that ill probably start with once the rest of hones get here. I like starting with hard but dont want to set myself up for failure or learn bad technique due to an overly crappy blade.

Go ahead and set the bevel on #2 with some 1k wet and dry automotive sand paper, once the bevel is set move up the Norton 4 and then the 8, This will do it, trust me. The biggest thing to remember is once the bevel is set let off the pressure, and when you get to the 8k side of the Norton lighten up as much as possible on the pressure during your strokes, barely touching the stone. The lighter the pressure the smoother the edge.
