Thank you men for all posts. I won't go lower than 800 or 1000 on my razors as I do have those waterstones and try to just start on the 1000. I'm going to work on getting my honing pressure right and forget about the hht and get a good feel for the tpt although its amazing to see a razor cut a hair like that for me. I'm having great fun with this and the input from all is fantastic. Tonight I am going to shave again and as I have read from everyone that is the test that matters so as im learning to shave I'm learning how my honing and stroping are doing as well. I just can't thank everyone enough and hope to be able to help someone else in the future. Glenn
