Thread: Chinese 12k slurry experiment

I bought a chinese 12k a few weeks ago and have been playing around with it and trying to learn the stone. Using it after the 8k Norton. I could certainly see a difference. I have read about slurry making and from what I gathered the best slurry stone would be from the same stone. I hesitated to cut up my new toy. But finally I did. I am glad I did. I don't have any great proclimations of what to do with slurry or how to do it, but if any one is hesitating the same thing I say go for it. Now I have to figure out thick and thin slurrys etc.
