Thanked: 13Need to find a honemeister in Berlin, Germany
Hi everyone, I just bought a bunch of razors for 10 Euros to practice honing on and the picture was so bad I didn't know what I was getting. A couple usual Solingen blades, and then one almost new Friodur INOX with original box and instructions.
Blade looks like it hasnt touched a hone outside of the factory and since I am still learning to hone well I don't want to mess up what is supposedly a great razor whilst I am learning. However, the pins are a little loose and the blade closes directly onto the scales if it's not guided into place. I would probably be open to re-scaling while honing this baby up.
Is there anyone in Berlin or Germany in general who can get this Lynn sharp (and properly) that one can recommend?
Dave

There are quite a few German members on this site.
Check out the members map, that will give you a few options on guys to PM for possible guidance.
Other than that, I'm sure some of the many helpful Germans on here will chime in soon enough.Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

Thanked: 121Please don't rescale that lovely razor. A couple of taps with a jeweler's hammer by someone who knows what they're doing and you'll be good to go.

That Friodur is a good blade. I found one and set it up for my barber. He prefers it above all the others in his collection.
