    Default Honemiesters (or anyone with experience) in Iowa

    I have a fairly decent collection of straights that I have picked up over the past 6 months, and have got all the equipment I need to start honing. (I should mention I am still waiting on my digital microscope to show up so that I can actually see the edge). And have slowly tried my hand at honing a couple of blades. And I have even shaved with some of them after honing them out. But they just don't have the same edge that the razors that I purchased from SRP have. Under a 250x microscope (at work) I have noticed that I do have a couple of jagged edges in comparison, and for some reason I just can't seem to get them out.

    What I am looking for is anyone in the central (or further out) Iowa area that would be willing to let me come over and observe them while they take a look at, and hone a blade or two for me.
