what is the difference between the chosera and the super stones?

The Naniwas Superstones are used by a large number of guys here on SRP so you will get more support regarding how to use & maintain those stones than you will with the Chosera line.. The Chosera 1K is used by a number of guys, including me, and prefer it for coarse work on a straight razor. I would suggest you talk with JimR about whats available in your area and give serious consideration to what JimmyHad suggested, the Naniwa Superstone 3/5/8.
