    Default A Little help please

    I sure this is the place to get the right answer, can anyone tell me how do you sharpen your barber scissors? mine can use a tuneup,and I'm sure I'm not the only one.With all there stones we have I'm sure one can be used for getting them back up to par,anyone?

    Not sure this is the right place. I (and others) here can help you troubleshoot razor sharpening. I don't know diddly about scissors.

    I've used a Washita to sharpen scissors. Takes a little while but leaves them as sharp as scissors can get.

    Scissors are basically two single bevel knives hooked together, and should be sharpened as such.
    Thus, sharpen them mostly on the bevel (the part to the outside) and not on the flat, where the two blades meet.
