:gaah: Oh No!! :argue:
From what I understand this was part of a war of words between him and some of the members on this forum.
Fwiw I cracked up laughing when I watched this one several months ago. But I do recognize that there are many ways to skin a cat. If he gets good results with this method then he's free to do it.
I don't think he needs to be too critical of how the SRP guys do things. No one here is telling him how to make a knife. That being said I'll stick with the way I do things. Not likely to try his methods on a razor.

The thread that mjsorkin refers to can be found here.
And there's a reason you don't see anyone hone like that. Nuff said :)
It isn't the first time this "honing method" has been brought up here.
This is why I will NEVER let the average knife guy even hold my razors. I know there are fellows here that know both worlds and of course I would trust somebody that knew what they were talking about. Guys like this tarnish their own names over a misunderstanding or some ego? I feel sorry for him. He makes himself look so stupid.
Have to love the song in the background. It had me cracking up.

I remember this video of Mastro Livi made quite some noise too... HAHA ! ;)
Okay, I get it. But I have to say I've never had much luck getting a knife sharp -- free hand -- until I used his methods, and his "knife" sharpening methods are pretty unorthodox, too.
