Thanked: 0Regrinding a blade...
Ok, I just got my norton 4k/8k in the mail today, and I got a razor for like $14 off of Ebay a few days ago. The sides of the spine seem to be pretty flat. How do I know if it needs to be "reground" and what exactly happens when a blade gets "Reground"?
I read Lynn's Tip about this, but I have already been trying to hone this razor, so I dont think its going to work to well.

I don`t know what other people do but I push the bottom of the hone Whare back up to the edge of the spine.I really don't have the gear to do it on extra hollow jobs and certainly wouldn`t consider myself good enough to offer a service,I mainly do 1/4`s and wedges. If it was only $14 depending of course on what razor it is I wouldn`t worry, just put some sparkie`s tape on the spine so it dosen`t whare anymore and hone away
Kind regards PeterLast edited by bg42; 10-06-2006 at 10:08 AM.

Thanked: 2209Give us a link to the razor on Ebay or post a good pic of what your referring to. Then we can help you better.
