Default Wire edge - photo please?

Got one of the 30x jeweller's loupes and been busy lookign at the edges.

I would really appreciate if one can send a pic (magnified) of a wire edge - right now when I stare too much at some of the edges I think I start hallucinating... At first everything seems fine, then I look more and I think I see a tiiiiny thing at the end of the bevel, etc.

Or could someone at least tell me what to look for?

    Cheers
    Ivo

    Default Wire edge

Not to forget lots of light..Good magnification reqires being well
lit...I find that a 12K magnifier will serve IF it is well lit.
I am usually looking for a mirror surface on the very edge of my blades,
and also checking for 'bubbles, or waves' on the surface of the edge.
If I get a good clear strong reflective edge under decent magnification, this
is a sign that the edge is sharp. I remember for a while everybody was
buying Radio Shack mini microscopes ..These work quite well, but need a lot
    of light...

    So happy viewing......

jim who has a great view in Gold Bar
