    I think it is that much better. A year or so ago Lynn and Dylan raved about the chosera 1k so I went for it. Not sorry I did. I have diamond plates in 325 and 600 if I have to go there but I usually don't need to. More often than not the razors I'm messing with are in good shape to start with. Early on I bought cheap ebay stuff to practice. After awhile I didn't buy anything that wasn't in excellent + or better condition. I don't normally hone for others so I usually don't need to go lower than 1k.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    How many razors need to have their bevel set in your shave den.

    Do lust after the "Snow white 8k" if you have shavers and a 12K or better finisher.
