    It is a great feeling to have achieved a great edge on a razor for the first time. Congrats!!

    I use a 4k/8k and then on to a Jnat for a finisher. 8k is sharp but Jnat is something else entirely. Keep up the practice and it will get even better.

    Strop the holy bejeezus out of it is about 100 on linen and 100 on leather, isn't it? lol

    Thanks all, for the comments. I'm seeing a distribution of higher grit stones and pasted strops for finishing. I guess I'll try both over time and figure out how I want to proceed. My next challenge is honing my W&B full wedge.
