Thread: Honing with Lather???

I'm probably in the minority here, but I use my Swaty dry. I've tried it with water, lather, oil and dry and personally find that dry honing gives the best edge with my hone. As with anything when it comes to hones and honing, YMMV.

I've used my Coticule dry too, and with lather. I find the lather works well for putting that extra bit of smooth on the edge.
