I watched gssixgun's video on prepping the JaNorton 4,8 stones and found the progression of finer flattening plates of interest. I have an Atoma 140 that I have used to flatten my synthetic waterstones. Having been stricken with the dreaded HAD, I am the proud father of a JNat and a few other finishers.

Is the Atoma 140 too coarse to flatten the Nakayama Asagi? If I lap it with the Atoma, should I polish with a 10K?
