    I'm thinking of picking this Pike diamond Razor hone up. Anyone got one ?. Any comments ?.

    I think its cool, lap it a little and knock yourself out. Old hones with directions are cool. Don't get too swayed by the "these grooves are to ensure it's impossible to ovehone the razor" retoric. Just use it like a regular little hone.

    I've got a Pike that looks very simialr, but is not a Diamond, is a Black Beauty. I find mine EXTREMELY fine, almost glass smooth and haven't had much luck with it, but I haven't had much luck with barber hones of any description.
