After watching Lynn's DVD multiple times, and every gssixgun video on YouTube, and reading countless posts on honing technique, I spent the last couple of weekends with the hones and a stack of eBay specials. The victims of the first weekend turned out to be better than expected, but there was certainly room for improvement. The couple that I have tried from this past weekend's honing efforts have turned out to be excellent shavers though. Don't get me wrong, there is still a LOT of room for improvement, but it is exciting to see things start to come together and a great sense of satisfaction from getting a really comfortable shave off a self-honed razor that would barely cut butter before I started.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of thank yous have been given to Lynn, Glen, and all the others who contribute here, but I just wanted to once again add my note of thanks, also. The time and effort you guys have taken to contribute here is very much appreciated!
