Pyramid Tutorial Correction?
Maybe it's just my confusion but I noticed in the wiki section on honing the pyramid technique it says in the tutorial to do strokes and I was taught a "stroke" is one straight motion down the hone/strop and a "lap" is two strokes one way and back evening honing both sides. If I am right taking it literally would result in a new learner causing uneven honing throughout the pyramid tutorial. I'm not trying to sound like a smartalick and please correct me if I am wrong?

That is a very cool link. I may try to change the chart later, or the Wiki later, when I'm on a computer.

Bear in mind that the chart and tutorial come from this thread: http://straightrazorpalace.com/honin...iscussion.html

Understood. It requires a lot of consistent changes.

Definition of STROKE
transitive verb
1
: to rub gently in one direction; also : caress
2
: to flatter or pay attention to in a manner designed to reassure or persuade
Just thought even if it is figured out by a new learner, I think it should at least discern the difference in between the two. Again I'm not trying to seem nit picky, just trying to help future learners avoid confusion.
