Thread: Pyramid Tutorial Correction?

Maybe it's just my confusion but I noticed in the wiki section on honing the pyramid technique it says in the tutorial to do strokes and I was taught a "stroke" is one straight motion down the hone/strop and a "lap" is two strokes one way and back evening honing both sides. If I am right taking it literally would result in a new learner causing uneven honing throughout the pyramid tutorial. I'm not trying to sound like a smartalick and please correct me if I am wrong?
