Thread: looking for a barber hone

All right, you bunch of honers. So I have come across the conk paddle hone and I am wondering if anyone on here is familiar with them. What i would like to know is if the right tool for the job. (the job being the occasional maintenance hone/polish that will keep my razors nice and sharp)

It's a hard Arkansas stone. I use something similar. With it one can produce a sharp, smooth edge. Since it's a slow cutter, it can be a good hone for a beginner.
