Default Luck was on my side, again!

Twice, I think. I picked up these two beauties from Maximilian today. I came straight home and put the coti to work.

They both took an edge nicely. The duck shaved beautifully. Not quite as smooth as the goldedge I did a week ago, but very nice. Maybe its not a fair comparison because I've been using the goldedge mostly w/2 day growth. Today I was impatient and shaved w/one day growth. I'm going to try and not shave tomorrow, so I can shave with the twin platinum on Monday. We'll see how that goes............

Maybe I'm lost, but if these just came from Maximillian, why would they need honed?

Rusty wanted to try honing them himself. Worse case scenario he knows where I live . Not everyone that has a razor restored wants it honed. Many like to hone their own.

What he said. I had to know if my first successful hone was a fluke or not. Max, you may be seeing me soon anyway. I won the bid on the 401 we were talking about. Might be needing some more scales.

It was tough, but I managed not to shave yesterday and accumulated 2 days growth. Took the Twin for a spin this evening, like butter

Max, your scales are simply awesome. The razors have a superb feel in my hands.
