Bevel re-setting confuses me. I know the theory behind it (that eventually touch ups become ineffective) but that has not been my experience and I have yet to reset a bevel on a previously shave ready razor. IMO if you use a stone for touch ups the bevel shouldn't have to be reformed unless you wait way too long, although the shaves would likely become intolerable before the edge degrades to that point. But who knows, give it a dozen years and maybe I'll find myself doing a lot of bevel resets lol.....
