Thread: Flattening stone

I need to flatten my Norton 4000/8000. Without a DMT 325, is there another widely accepted method for flattening the stone? I know of sand paper and the like, but what else do I need to flatten my stones. I would also think getting a DMT 325 is needed, but my budget is tight.

Wet sandpaper on a tile or glass plate is economical and easy.
