Who in UK is best at honing?
I just got a Lovely Dovo off Ebay, its like new, the guy bought it in new York but was frightened to use it. He had it up for 70pounds I offered him 65 and he took it. Now I haven't got it yet as I only just bought it.
But if it needs honing who is the best in the on this board in the UK to do it.? I have already been given Neils Name but he is in the USA, and today I had to pay the Uk customs 12pound for a block of Bria Wood from the USA. So if I send there I may have to pay again when he sends it back, and I dont know how long it will take. So for that and no other reason I would like to fined someone in the Uk.

neil miller is in the uk. try steve at invisable edge he's in the uk and is a sound guy, he sells lots of dovo's and no's how to hone them....

I can thouroughly recommend Celticcrusaider (Jamie) from this forum. Hes done a fantastic restoration for me. Really nice chap and price, in my opinion, is really good.

I can vouch for Steve Dempster at theinvisibleedge.co.uk - had 4 razors honed and cleaned out by him. Also there is Neil Miller at strop-shop.co.uk

I've bought from Steve (Invisible edge) and would recommend him. I've also had some repair work done by Jamie. I'd totally recommend him too. You can't go wrong with either. Steve does this for a living and Jamie is a fellow forum member and does this as his passion.

Search for a user here on SRP for Celticcrusader and that is Jamie. Never mind sir... No doubt you will aquire another SR in the fiture that may need restoring/honing. Let us know how the blade turns out.

I had Tony homles polish and hone and razor for me. Check out his work on my blue diamond razor. Its shaves like a dream, I had to ask him how on earth he honed it because it was by far my smoothest shave. And he did it at a very good price.
